How to remove a Mazda 6 car stereo - (2002 to 2008)
The following is a guide on removing a car stereo or car radio from the above vehicle.

How to remove the stereo step by step:
Remove the gear know by un-screwing it.
Now lift prise up the cup holders / console behind the gear stick surrounding the handbrake lever. This is on pressure clips.
Remove the trim now around the gear lever – again this is on pressure clips.
You should now have access to 2 screws at the bottom of the centre console. Undo these.
Now drop out the glove box down and out by pulling down and pushing the plastic stopper out of the way on the right hand side.
This gives you access to the 10mm bolt holding the rest of the centre console in.
You can now drop the console forward and out.
This will gain access to the 2 PINK screws on each side of the stereo which will release it.
Remove radio and disconnect aerial and ISO wiring plugs from back.
