How to remove the stereo step by step:
In the drivers foot well under the steering wheel, start to remove the panel. There are 7 screws under here.
Once removed, look under the air vent control in the centre of the dash to find another 2 screws. Undo these.
Now open the glove box and undo another 2 screws.
You will also need to pop out the 4 square buttons to the left of the radio (heater buttons) to reveal another 2 screws. Also disconnect the wiring from the buttons.
Here’s the tricky part. The whole middle console is now on clips, but be careful when pulling it because the clips at the top are razor sharp and can easily scratch the radio if your not careful. Once the console is fairly clear, stick your fingers in the bottom slot to remove the heater matrix cable and circulation control cable (they should just pop off). On the left the green circular plug should pop off, on the middle control, unhook the wire (don’t pull to hard or the green cable stop will snap), then unplug the right hand electrics and finally the electric plug right down the bottom (for the Air con controls).
Without removing the console completely, you should have enough access to undo the 4 screws holding the radio in place.
Remove radio and disconnect aerial and ISO wiring plugs from back.
