How to remove the stereo step by step:
Start by removing the plastic trim around the gear knob. This is on plastic poppers and should just clip off.
You can now undo the 2 bolts under the stereo.
Now clip off the trim that runs right across the top of the stereo, which starts at the left hand air vent.
This will now allow you to remove the 2 torx head screws holding the rest of the stereo in place.
Remove radio and disconnect aerial and ISO wiring plugs from back.
